We have several very challenging projects set to launch in the financial services industry using a mixture of .NET 3.5, WinForms, WPF, Design patterns, UI Composite frameworks (CAB, Prism, etc) & SQL. We are looking for Developers who have strong C#/.Net background and experience working in Strategic Trading and Risk Management Knowledge is preferred.
Job Description
We are looking to hire an experienced C# Developer. Experience working the financial services industry - particularly in capital markets environment is preferred. In your first year at Infusion as a C# Developer you will:
- Work on and/or lead the development effort which will help to transition existing legacy systems to the new strategic trading and risk management applications and platforms.
- Be involved in all aspects of requirements gathering, development and architecture design.
- Work on extending existing WinForms based applications but at the same time working to design/develop/migrate to strategic WPF applications and User Interface platforms
- Consistently leverage your strong core technical knowledge of .NET 2.0/3.0/3.5, WinForms, WPF, Design patterns, UI Composite frameworks (CAB, Prism, etc) & SQL.
- Successfully deliver 2-4 mission critical projects/components for one or more of our leading internationally recognized clients.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Very proficient with C# .NET development in a commercial environment, using a range of technologies (C#/.NET 1.1/2.0/3.0/3.5.NET)
- UI Front-end development experience (WinForms, WPF), ideally with exposure to UI Composite frameworks (CAB, Prism, etc)
- Experience in SQL, preferably in a SQL Server environment.
- Broad knowledge of design patterns
- Experience in financial services, particularly derivatives. (Ideally)
