Here is what you'll get to do:
Develop features for core DVR functionality, Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) information, Video On Demand (VOD) integration, Parental Controls and other key aspects of the TiVo Middlware
Generate software requirements from Product Marketing and User Experience guidelines
Provide architectural and design documents for existing and new software features
Analyse performance and stability and deliver on-going improvements
Work with partner companies to identify and resolve issues in 3rd party software components
What you'll need to be successful:
Strong OOP design and multi-threaded programming skills
Exceptional, in-depth knowledge of C and C++
Experience with or enthusiasm for embedded, consumer electronics systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills of technical and cross-functional content
Bachelor's Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Experience in interactive TV applications and platforms, especially, DVB and MHEG specifications
Experience developing for an embedded Linux environment
Real-time programming experience with MPEG-2/H.264 processing in set top or embedded systems
