Hi,
Here is our website: http://www.MixedInKey.com
We create software used by the world's best DJs and producers. We're writing our next-generation Windows products now, and we're switching to WPF + .NET 4.0.
We're looking for a rare person who does both design and development. Your job will be to customize DataGrids, create custom 3D and 2D controls, and create software that does not use default Windows controls. Think about interfaces you see in computer games, and imagine re-creating them using custom WPF controls written by you.
Here are things that we look for:
1) You must have launched at least one product that used WPF for 100% of its UI. We're looking for WPF experts, and your skills must be proven by previous experience.
2) You are prepared to work on software that rivals Photoshop and iTunes in terms of user interface customization
3) You are available to work at least 16 hours a week.
4) Additional skills that will be useful: Knowledge of DirectShow/OpenGL programming, expert knowledge of SQL, Photoshop/art/design experience, VC++ background and audio DSP development. That's a tall order, but if you have any of the above skills, please mention then.
The company is based in Miami Beach, Florida, but we welcome people to work from home. We are looking for a developer to work 8-16 hours per week with 16 preferred. If you have a full-time job already, this wouldn't be the right position for you -- we may need to expand to 20-30 hours per week depending on availability.
