We are a 70-person Chicago-based firm, well funded and ambitious, looking for a talented Product Manager to play a central role in extending and improving the company?s core SaaS product.  This highly visible position will report to and work closely with senior level management.

Founded in 2001, we are entrepreneurial technology company headquartered in downtown Chicago.  Today, we have over 2,000 franchisees across the United States. We create technology that puts sophisticated business intelligence and Internet marketing software into the hands of non-technical front line employees, with proven bottom-line results. Our first vertical is the automotive retail sector.

The successful candidate will have the ability to critically evaluate product information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from their underlying true needs.  Monitor key benchmarks, analytics, and ROI to identify opportunities and/or flaws

Further responsibilities include proactive communication and collaboration with internal and external customers to analyze information needs, write functional requirements, and deliver the appropriate artifacts in a timely, high-quality fashion.  Such artifacts typically include, but are not limited to:

·         Market/ Product/ Functional Requirements 

·         User Scenarios, Use Cases, and Work Flows

·         GUI, Screen and Interface Prototypes/ Wireframes

·         Data Flows, Interactions and Manipulations

·         Project plans

·         4- 7 years of hands on, highly impactful product management experience from a high-growth technology company bringing commercial software products to market

·         Bachelor?s Degree and strong performance from a reputable academic program

·         Demonstrated inquiry-based approach to problem solving

·         Deep understanding of current internet technologies, and product development, launch and support processes

·         Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of software engineers, executives, field personnel, customers, marketing communications/ PR and subject matter experts

·         Comfort with and an appreciation for the dynamic nature of high-growth software businesses
