The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong managerial and leadership skills, the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and learn on the fly, strong experience in automation testing and knowledge of programming.
Responsibilities
Work with product management and engineering to determine how to test two complex products.
This individual should have a strong desire to understand the customer and help to ensure that what were building meets not only the letter of the requirements but also solves the underlying business problems that our customers have.
Be able to perform and enjoy doing root cause analysis of complicated problems.
Keep pace with our rapid agile development environment (2-week iterations) by actively participating and partnering with engineering and product teams
Lead a team of 3 QA engineers, while remaining hands-on
Supervise both manual and automated testing efforts using Selenium/JUnit, while introducing additional automation into the environment
Understanding of how to test complex web-based applications which interact with third-party services
Qualifications:
Passion for software quality
Strong experience in automation
Experience with Java development or other modern language (ie ruby/perl/python/groovy)
Working knowledge of Linux a plus
Experience with running SQL queries
