Charles River Analytics is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop software for innovative sensor processing applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer to get in on the ground floor at the beginning of a highly visible program. As part of a small, elite team of researchers and engineers, you will participate in all stages of the software lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing software for systems that interface with a variety of imaging sensors and other hardware devices for real-time data acquisition and control.

The applicant must have at least a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years software development experience. Also required are strong software engineering skills and proficiency in Java. Experience interfacing with hardware such as global positioning systems (GPS), inertial measurement units (IMUs), and/or imaging sensors is a strong plus. Knowledge of geographic information system (GIS) fundamentals is also considered a plus. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment, and will be expected to interact with and present to clients. The selected candidates may need to obtain a government security clearance, therefore US citizenship is required.
