Charles River Analytics is seeking a research scientist to work on challenging computer vision problems in domains such as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and automatic target recognition (ATR). You will work closely with our Principal Investigators on designing and evaluating novel algorithms and implementing them efficiently in software. You will be responsible for remaining abreast of the state-of-the-art in relevant research, and in applying and extending prior art to current problems in the field of computer vision.
We require a solid background in Computer Science or a related field. Familiarity with modern image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision techniques is also required. Candidates must have strong software development skills and experience with C++. Experience with geographic information systems (GIS) is a plus. Familiarity with software optimization techniques, including multi-core and GPU programming will also be considered a plus. Candidates must possess strong verbal and written skills to support proposal writing, interaction with customers, and presentations at technical conferences. The selected candidates may need to obtain a government security clearance, therefore US citizenship is required.
Founded in 1983, Charles River Analytics has developed a variety of custom intelligent systems for a number of government and commercial customers.
