You
You're an awesome designer who has had either agency experience or experience at a web company where your role included delivering design mock-ups for the sales team or the product team-- at a fast pace. You know the ins and outs of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks like second nature. Your eye for design aligns with what makes clients happy... and drool. You have a vast knowledge of classic design rules and principles yet are savvy on the latest design trends and what's hot now. Good typography choices and simple, clean design layouts make up half of your work because you know it's most effective in most cases. Yet, you have the skills to turn on the heat and create elaborate and beautiful compositions. You are keen on web standards and are excited about pushing the envelope with CSS and Javascript, yet understand the limits and constraints of the modern browser.
The projects you will be working on with us in the coming months are for our biggest client yet. The work we create will live on their very popular website and will have lead-in promos from weekly TV shows. The projects will literally be seen and touched by millions and millions of people. This could be a huge addition to your portfolio!!

The job is a contract-to-hire position that requires that you work at our office located near Union Square in San Francisco. This is a contract gig lasting 3-4 months with the option to come on board full-time if you're a rockstar.
