The VP Sales Strategy is a creative, solutions-oriented executive whose primary responsibility is to monitor, track and analyze all external data, competitive intelligence and analyst reports regarding the advertising marketplace and provide actionable insights to drive revenues. The VP/Director will initially be a single contributor but will have a great opportunity to build a strategy and analytics team.

Responsibilities
â?¢ Lead the benchmarking and development of broad-ranging analyses of competitive intelligence, analyst reports and media coverage of the advertising marketplace
â?¢ Interface with leadership of the sales groups at all the business units
â?¢ Present analyses and insights to corporate and business leaders
â?¢ Provide thought leadership about the evolution of advertising, emerging trends, technologies, entertainment and media i.e. addressable advertising, VOD, interactive TV
â?¢ Manage and operationalize trials of advanced advertising platforms
â?¢ Strategically assess the competitive landscape and prioritize revenue opportunities
â?¢ Primary owner of communications from President of Ad sales to
o Board of Directors: prepare analysis for monthly calls and quarterly presentations
o Business unit leaders: present weekly analysis and insights
o 800+ sales organization: develop monthly newsletters and reports; work closely with corporate communications team to develop agenda for annual townhall
â?¢ Manage strategic initiatives/new process implementation across sales organization
