Our continued growth has resulted in an exciting opportunity to lead the Corporate Strategy department. The Vice President â?? SMB and Talent Grid Marketing, will be responsible for the following areas:

Responsibilities:

â?¢ Lead all marketing activities for Taleo SMB and Talent Grid product lines
â?¢ Develop a comprehensive marketing plans including identifying and scoping market opportunities, and defining best in class strategies, programs and campaigns designed to seize market share
â?¢ Drive all demand generations activities leveraging best in class capabilities for web, social network, ad, and event efforts
â?¢ Drive product messages and branding efforts
â?¢ Perform in-depth research and analysis on the competitive landscape and dispense key positioning messages to the sales organization, executive management, and the analyst community
â?¢ Collaborate with product and sales leadership to help define product roadmap
â?¢ Report key metrics that demonstrate the success and ROI of each marketing program.
� Function as the recognized Taleo and industry expert in the SMB and Talent Grid market segment.  Responsibilities include: providing sales training to the sales team and its partners, and communicating positioning and strategy to industry analysts and press
â?¢ Attend and participate in industry related events and tradeshows to maintain visibility and market awareness and gather competitive intelligence
� Develop SMB presence on www.taleo.com  to drive leads and inquiries 

Qualifications:
â?¢ BA/BS with 10 years of marketing experience
�  7 years of high tech marketing
â?¢ Software experience preferred
â?¢ MBA preferred
â?¢ Must have extensive hands on experience leading successful, high impact on-line and off-line marketing campaigns that drive sales in SMB/higher volume markets
� Track record must be demonstrated by case studies and/or a campaign portfolio. 
â?¢ Extensive experience using AdWords, banner advertising, SEO to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
â?¢ Experience successfully collaborating with and supporting an inside sales team and channel sales partners.
â?¢ Be a high achiever and able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit balanced by a highly professional demeanor
â?¢ Be intellectually aggressive, a creative problem-solver, and possess strong analytical skills. Ability to quickly dissect highly complex issues.
â?¢ Possess a sense of urgency, decisiveness, ability to work hard and deliver results under pressure, as well as a willingness to address and shift priorities in rapidly changing markets and high growth environments.
â?¢ Have the analytical capability to recognize market trends and capitalize on the resulting opportunities.
� Proven initiative and ability to work independently, yet work effectively with others in managing complex projects while meeting challenging deadlines.  Self-directed individual contributor who is comfortable participating as a team player within a fast-paced group.  Strong interpersonal skills required.
â?¢ Extensive presentation experience: customer sales presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences, technical product presentations to industry analysts briefings, and product demonstrations.
â?¢ Must be able to work in a matrix environment, collaborating with other marketing groups within Taleo.
â?¢ M&A experience is highly desirable.
â?¢ Demonstrated experience in writing and producing: collateral, sales aids, slide shows and scripts.
â?¢ Competitive analysis experience desired.
