(Anywhere)

We're looking for a web designer and developer that can consistently deliver high-quality, creative and artistic websites for our clients. We currently feature over 250 clients and this number is going to increase drastically this year.

We get a variety of hotels coming our way, from large brand properties (Marriott or Hilton) to very small boutique hotels. The job asks you, as a designer, to come up with a breathtaking design for each property that's based on a) the brand b) the location and c) the ideal clientele. A large hotel in Manhattan will be different from a large hotel in Dallas, which will be different from a small hotel near a national park. Your job will be to find that right blend of design.

We believe in minimalistic design: less is more. Hotel sites are often too crowded, too cheesy, or too generic. We have  a very good idea on the direction we want to head in design-wise. We're looking for someone that can set the standards for hotel web design standards.

Some things we want to do:

- Minimize scrolling
- Eliminate any Flash components altogether; we hate the download time and compatability issues going forward
- Condense menu items and links so the interface is easier to use and more attractive
- Push the envelop for hotel web design. Incorporate more Web 2.0 elements into the design
- Simple, simple, simple. Make the process much, much easier for travelers.

Brand hotels have certain web standards we have to adhere to but other than that, if your resume blows us away, we'll give you creative freedom to design as you please.

No relocation is required. You're free to work from anywhere. We use Basecamp to collaborate but we're also building our own internal collaboration system in the near future.

Job Perks: We offer performance bonuses based on the amount of quality work you're able to put out and the number of clients you can handle. Also, after working with Myriann for a set period of time, you will also gain ownership in the company.

Apply: If interested, send us your resume and be sure to include your portfolio. Links would be helpful, along with anything else you may have designed. Also mention your salary requirements or whether you prefer to be paid per project. Please email us at 6148@jobs.authenticjobs.com. No phone calls.
