4 Year Degree or Higher with some exceptions, a computer science or related degree is preferred.
Description
The Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance is responsible for the overall quality of Sentrys products and services. This individual will be required to develop the overall quality processes, continually looking for opportunities to improve and expand established procedures. This position is required to provide detailed reporting on quality measures to the Sr. Director, Operations and the CIO.
Candidates should understand internet application development and quality assurance processes. Applicants must be able to develop and enforce test plans with an understanding of what services are being provided to the user and the effect of software changes on those services.
Technical Skills
Candidates must have experience with scripting languages (PHP, Ruby, Perl, Python) and web
technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript). Must have a working knowledge of relational databases
(PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite, MySQL, SQL Server). Must have experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments. Applicant should have a good understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (especially agile) and where QA fits into it.
Other Skills
Applicant should have good problem solving skills, and demonstrate critical thinking. Candidates should also be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.![]()
