Balanced Insight, Inc. is looking to expand its product engineering team. Balanced Insight Consensus helps organizations build Business Intelligence solutions faster and more accurately. This is done through facilitating Business Intelligence Agility (Agile BI Delivery) and the Alignment of Business Metadata. Consensus was recognized in the last 90 days by both Gartner Group and Forrester as a leader in this emerging market category.
We have Product Engineer positions and one Lead Product Engineer position available.
The following technical capabilities are key to success in this position:
- Strong skills and experience in Java, data modeling, JavaScript
- Desired: Ext JS, Spring, Velocity, Swing
- Familiarity with the any BI tools is a big plus: SQL Server Analysis Services, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, SAP BI, OBIEE, Essbase
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
A qualified candidate should:
- Be able to guide and mentor other team members
- Be highly motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
- Have exposure to iterative or agile development techniques
- Have a good sense of humor
- Be a data geek
