OPPORTUNITY POSTING Organization Description Women of the Harvest is a nonprofit organization in west Denver that provides support and encouragement for North American women in cross-cultural ministry. We offer numerous resources of encouragement including a retreat ministry, microenterprise program and a bi-monthly onlineMagazine along with a variety of electronic publications designed to meet the specific needs of women serving overseas. Position Women of the Harvest is seeking a part-time Web Manager to maintain, update and assist with the production of content for our website and online publications. West Denver Metro Area Ministry for Women Team Atmosphere Part-Time: 25-30 Hours / week, flexible Duties and Responsibilities: ? Produce 30-page online magazine and other publications: layout, format and some design. ? Proactively troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix website problems and various web-related issues ? Suggest, develop, and change web page infrastructure ? Maintain applications to ensure technical performance ? Proactively seek new applications and technology to ensure optimal website functionality An ideal candidate will have the following Qualifications: ? Highly organized, detail-oriented and ability to work with a team ? Excellent communication skills and ability to learn ? Professional Level Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and Flash ? Experience with ASP Classic, ASP.Net, SQL, Java Script, PHP, Fireworks or Photoshop ? Familiarity with web usability practices, cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility requirements ? Benefit: Experience with web / database integration ? Having a heart for ministry would be an asset.
