We are currently seeking a SQA Analyst to join our busy SQA team team in Chelsea, London
The role is varied and includes but not limited to:
Assessing and positively impacting the quality of software
Using formal design documents and informal written and oral communication to gain detailed technical knowledge and insight into product functionality
Working closely with the Developers and other SQA Engineers to understand the product requirements
Testing product features by the SQA Engineer using a combination of formally designed tests and exploratory (ad-hoc) testing (Completed within the context of a highly agile and sprint based development process)
Developing new automated regression tests Using the in-house testing tools where possible and maintain existing automated tests
Working closely with the support team to help resolve specific customer issues
Planning and organizing their testing schedule and report progress and results in a clear, timely manner
Providing feedback into the development cycle to improve product functionality and usability


The successful candidate will possess:

Strong domain knowledge:
o TCPIP Networking
o Unix and Windows system admin experience.
Strong test automation
o Hands-on scripting, not GUI driven automation
o Python, perl or shell-scripting experience
Proven experience working in an Agile Development team
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly
QA throughout the development life-cycle
Basic UNIX or Windows System Administration
Experience of working in an agile development environment
Thorough, methodical and pays attention to detail
Strong analytical thinking
Capable of contributing effectively in a team environment
Demonstrates initiative in problem solving
Ideally you will have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science
