We are currently looking for a Web Developer to join this collaborative and exciting Research and Development team. Summary: Thought Equity Motion is looking for a Web Developer who is capable of working from a database level all the way to the DHTML and JavaScript level. This would include MySQL, Java, Java web technologies (Hibernate, Spring, Struts), Freemarker, JavaScript, Flash and Flash technologies (ActionScript 3.0). Ideally, you will be someone who not only understands the web, but loves to play and learn in order to maximize your potential as new and exciting technologies emerge. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Flash video player development ? Continued Platform and partner site development ? Third party software integration and support (PayPal, Sabrix) ? Help maintain and extend our API offering ? Backend support for UI Developers ? Maintenance and extension of integrated test systems (CruiseControl) Education/Experience Requirements: ? 2+ years in web development systems ? Strong work ethic ? Technical degree ? Team oriented attitude ? Capability to learn and expand your base skills Favorable Experience: ? 2+ years in Java development ? ActionScript 3.0 development ? Experience with Freemarker ? MySQL database experience ? Experience with Java web technologies (Hibernate, Spring, Struts) ? Experience with Prototype and Script.aculo.us, including Ajax functionality ? Bash shell scripting ? Internationalization and Localization experience Benefits: ? Competitive compensation package ?
