This is a great opportunity for a Web Product Manager to enhance and grow an exciting new concept. As Product Manager for the Consumer Site side of the business will take business strategies and translate them into actionable requirements.
Description
Work with internal teams, freelancers, and agencies on projects and lead these teams to deliver a superior online experience for our users.
Work with development to communicate requirements through technical implementation. Design task flows, work with IA / UX designer to create detailed schematics/wireframes. Assist creative and marketing in prototyping and conducting usability and focus group research. Produce detailed requirements based on marketing goals.
Evaluate new technologies to constantly improve the user experience.
Use key product metrics to track effectiveness of interaction design efforts.
Conduct competitive analysis and identify areas for differentiation.
Define requirements based on market and product interdependence needs.
Basic Skills:
7+ years Web Product Management experience focused on product requirements definition and elaboration for Consumer facing web products.
Expertise with Visio / OmniGraffle, Photoshop or similar tools required.
While not a programming job, basic to advanced HTML/CSS skills along with SEO awareness are a given. Full understanding of capabilities of modern web tools, (AJAX/XML/API Feeds, etc), will be necessary. Basic web skills, (FTP, etc. assumed.) Plusses include basic web server and Unix fluency.
Experience with back office systems and management interface requirements desired. Knowledge of user-centered design processes, interaction design approaches, Web and CRM design best practices and Web standards.
Use of Agile methods and tools .
