The scalability requirements on the product are rapidly increasing and to help meet those demands, were looking for a developer who understands and appreciates the complexities of server side engineering.
Responsibilities
Design and implement substantial areas of core back-end functionality from start to finish
Write software to manage hundreds of terabytes of data and a growing number of servers in the cloud
Employ open source and commercial tools to help scale the product, then write powerful code to connect them
Leverage the best technologies out there to build exciting server side features for our customers
Integrate Syncplicity with partners like Google and support 3rd party integrations with an elegant API
Scale, maintain, and monitor production servers and environment
Requirements
Proficiency in .NET and C#
Significant experience with relational databases and SQL (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
Experience with Windows Server and IIS
Experience scaling backend systems and databases
Experience designing and implementing distributed systems
Bonus Skills
WCF and ASP.NET
Linux
PHP/Python
NUnit/MSTest, mock testing and dependency injection, TDD/BDD
Amazon Web Services (EC2 and S3)
