We're looking for someone who is passionate about writing great Windows applications to help us transition our existing database-driven applications from Access 2003, VB6, and SQL 2005 to C#/.NET and SQL Server 2008. The person we're looking for will have a strong grasp of C#, T-SQL, object-oriented programming techniques, and user interface design.
If hired, you'd be working closely with our existing team of application developers to simultaneously re-implement our existing applications in C# knowledge to our existing staff. Strong communication skills are a must, as is the ability to effectively document your code and work with a small team on application development.
This is a 6 - 12 month on-site contract position in Scottsdale, AZ that may lead to full-time employment. Please do not apply if you are not located in, or not willing to relocate to, the greater Phoenix area. We will not provide relocation assistance.

* 2 years recent experience with C#.
* 2 years experience with SQL Server 2005/2008.
* 2 years experience writing object-oriented code.
* 2 years experience designing Windows application graphical user interfaces (GUI's).

* Windows API experience.
* Database administration (DBA) experience with SQL Server 2005/2008.
* LINQ experience.
* Version control experience.
* Google Maps, Google Calendar, or other Google API experience.
* Programmatically viewing and manipulating PDF's using your own code or an SKD.
* Access 2003 and/or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) experience.
* Experience with secure file transfer (SFTP, SCP, SSL/TLS, etc.).
* Reporting experience (SQL Server Reporting Services, etc.).
