With offices in Boston, Houston, and Southern California, the company focuses on natural gas & power markets, renewables, demand response, energy technologies and sustainability.
We currently have an opening in our Huntington Beach office for a Consulting Project Manager, who will play a critical role in building the resource teams for our Consulting projects. He/she will work with members of the firm, including Principals, project team members, and candidates to develop teams of consultants with energy experience for key roles on strategy consulting projects.
The person in this role will thrive on helping senior consultants to position the firm with the energy industry and clients to drive future growth.
Your Profile
- You have a take-charge, self-starter, whatever it takes attitude, and can manage multiple projects at once, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with industry professionals, corporate management and clients
Qualifications
- Energy Industry Experience: 3-5 years, including energy marketing for natural gas or electricity, or experienced at a Registered Energy Marketer or ISO, or Energy Origination.
- Experience in Project management in a Consulting Firm, Investment Banking, Law Firm, or other Professional Services Firm strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written, verbal and organizational skills
- Proficient in online research and social networks, such as Linked In, company websites, Hoover's, 10-Ks
- Excellent MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or Marketing or related degree plus at least 3 years of practical experience in Project or marketing coordination for a professional services firm. MBA a plus.
