Distributed Sun LLC/Washington, DCDistributed Sun LLC, a growing solar company founded in 2009 and based in Washington, DC, is seeking a Technology Analyst to take on a variety of technical and research responsibilities. The Analyst will be primarily responsible for the monitoring of the entire company portfolio of solar sites through our web analytics interface. The Analyst will also perform basic IT support for the office.
The Analyst may also help manage the company's web presence and database projects as well as perform general research in the area of ground-breaking products in the solar industry (e.g. next generation thin films, solar carports and other technologies on the horizon). The ideal candidate will have a college degree and several years of experience related to renewable energy or information technology.
The ideal candidate has a passion for learning about the solar industry, can work independently, and can take on a wide-ranging set of duties. The position commences with a four-week unpaid training period prior to the job start date of August 1. The Analyst position salary will be commensurate with that of a start-up company, but with strong opportunities for growth as the company implements its plans for rapid expansion.
