Description
Lead a team of web designers and developers and contribute to the growth of our solutions and user experiences. Responsible for mentoring a team of Web Developers and Designers, determining project needs, detail project outlines and setting standards in user interface, HTML, CSS and design.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent required. Extensive knowledge of internet technologies, development cycles and user experience studies. Strong knowledge of user interface design. Must be a self starter able to work with all levels of employees.
Responsibilities
- Handle the design and implementation of MultiAd's websites and applications.
- Lead web team in creative directions and provide marketing support, this includes assisting web team in regards to rich internet applications such as Flash, Java and Flex based solutions.
- Research new technologies, general user interface trends and design to maintain creative edge.
- Mentor web team in effective user interface design, CSS and HTML standards, JavaScript and the general importance of a good design direction as it relates to a good user experience.
- Proactively find new ways of expanding our current solutions.
- Create websites and applications with browser compatibility accounted for and checked.
- Manage large scale projects for a team of Application Developers, Web Developers and Web Specialists.
- Collaborate with Project Management to write detailed outlines of websites and applications for large scale projects.
- Work with scheduling department on large scale projects to establish and approve schedules.
- Breakdown large scale projects into attainable milestones for web design team.
- Consult with clients regarding development requests with respect to feasibility, urgency and needs.
- Work with team members to debug problems that arise with user interface elements, i.e. JavaScript and HTML.
