EnergyHub is a venture-backed startup developing consumer electronics and software tools that reduce home energy consumption and save consumers money. We are a growing team of engineers and designers who share a passion for elegant user-centered design and are dedicated to finding innovative solutions to today's energy and environmental problems.

The hardware in our system includes consumer-facing touchscreen devices, electrical fixtures, and communications modules; all of it is manufactured somewhere, some in-house, some by domestic contract manufacturers, and some in foreign factories. This is where you come in. You'll work closely with the customer management, design, and hardware engineering teams internally and also our CM and ODM partners externally to ensure that, no matter where it is made, our hardware is built on schedule and is delivered with the highest possible level of quality.

Responsibilities
-Plan, estimate, and successfully execute manufacturing and sourcing activities
-Prepare RFQs for contract manufacturers, collect bids, manage contracts
-Manage strategic commodities by monitoring material requirements based on product delivery forecasts
-Work with contract manufacturers to ensure tooling, assembly work instructions, and process instructions are in place to meet product requirements and specifications
-Monitor product manufacturing lead times and set delivery schedules
-Manage regulatory approval process for relevant standards (e.g. UL/ETL, FCC, etc.)
-Coordinate integration of system components managed by electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and industrial designers

Qualifications
-4+ years of manufacturing and/or operations experience
-Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or related field
-Extensive track record of working with both domestic and foreign contract manufacturers
-Track record of working with both domestic and foreign contract manufacturers
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Other skills that would be highly valued
-Masters degree or MBA
-Familiarity and experience with gaining domestic and international regulatory approvals (FCC, UL/ETL, etc.)
-Consumer products manufacturing and/or engineering experience
