Database & Systems Administrator

We need someone who believes there’s such a thing as a good DBA and Systems Administrator all in one. You will join our development team to help manage our production and development database and hardware systems. You’ll also play a key role in designing and implementing solutions to ensure that our service is scalable and reliable.
Along with your various skills, you must have:
- Serious SQL chops
- At least 1-2 years of experience managing SQL Server (2005/2008) in a production environment
- Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server database, index, stored procedure, and trigger design
- Experience with database performance optimization through query optimization, index tuning, (de-)normalization, and file management
- At least 1-2 years of experience managing servers running Windows Server (2003/2008)
- Fanatical attention to detail
We also hope you’ll have:
- A love for building out scalable and efficient back-ends for web applications
- No problems with helping out your non-technical colleagues with technical issues
