The Cloud Security Product Manager will have responsibility for introducing hosted product offerings to a new segment of the market. The PM will:
- Champion the product offering, including its features and competitive landscape.
- Conduct market research, interact with customers, profile the end-users and buyers of hosted computing products.
- Own the product road map, competitive matrix, pricing, sales and marketing plans.
- Research prospects, engage in business development activities and help close deals.
- Create PRD and functional specifications for the product requirements, working with engineering.
- Create marketing materials and sales presentations with the team.
The Cloud Security Product Manager will:
- Define the market segments and personas
- Quantify the market opportunity
- Ensure validation in the market
- Prioritize requirements and author functional specifications
- Serve as the market representative to the engineering team
The Cloud Security Product Manager position requires:
- 5-6 years industry experience with infrastructure software.
- 2-3 of proven experience in a product management position with a SaaS company like PingIdentity, Symplified, Tricipher, Salesforce, SuccessFactors.
- Domain expertise in the hosted software market, including pricing and go to market.
- Software security industry experience from marketing and sales standpoint.
- MBA degree with a Bachelor's of Science degree in an engineering field.
- Travel up to 30% is required for this job, sometimes more.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to analyze, assess and act swiftly on assignments, working in cross-functional groups worldwide.
