We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer at our Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, New York.
Responsibilities:
Developing SharePoint components including web parts, lists, web pages, workflow, and infopath forms
Involvement in creating technical specifications
Participation in SharePoint architecture, development, deployment, and administration issues
Working efficiently with technical and functional teams and regularly communicating progress, issues, and risks to project lead/manager
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
6 years experience in software development which includes large scale enterprise projects, secure web-based systems and portals
2 years experience with MOSS, SPS 2007 and C#, .NET Framework
Strong working knowledge of Web Services and ASP.NET
Experience with Visual Studio 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid grasp of MOSS Search concepts including custom scope and multi-source indexing
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 SDK
Good understanding of SharePoint lists, libraries, workflows, and content/records
Experience designing and developing web pages, web parts, master pages and layout pages (WSRP experience a plus)
Experience with Excel Services and/or Business Data Catalog
Experience with .NET MVC and Silverlight
Experience with agile/iterative development processes and SDLC tools
Experience creating secure web-based applications
Working knowledge with Web Service Extensions (WSE) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
Performance tuning and trouble-shooting in a secure environment
