Our client is seeking a highly self-motivated, experienced individual to
drive their media publishing and analytics products and strategy. This
person will be responsible for defining strategy and product requirements,
developing pricing, managing product launches, and providing management
updates. Their products are used by the world's top Media and Entertainment
businesses to manage, store, and deliver digital media such as audio and
video to a wide array of digital devices.

Responsibilities:
. Define and implement a product strategy and roadmap for their
media products in the areas of publishing and analytics.
. Interact with customers and prospects to define market
requirements and translate these requirements into a product plan.
. Produce product requirements that the engineering team can deliver
within specification, on time, and within budget.
. Drive the successful release of products working closely with
engineering and a full cross-functional team including product marketing,
sales, channels, service and support, network and operations, integration
services, customer care, and billing.
. Define and roll-out positioning of products working closely with
Product Marketing on the go to market plan.
. Identity and implement partnerships for offering their media
customers a complete solution for their business model.
. Create and deliver sales training for the direct sales force as
well as channel partner sales forces and technical services and support
teams.
. Write and develop product collateral such as product descriptions,
presentations, sales tools and technical white papers.
. Represent them at conferences and other events.


Qualifications:
. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Sciences or Engineering,
MBA preferred.
. 5 years of experience with product management, product marketing
or product development or equivalent experience.
. 2 years of experience with internet-related technologies.
. Interest and knowledge of current digital media industry and
trends.
. Preference given to candidates with experience managing and
implementing media software and software-as-a-service products.
. Team player a must.
. Ability to gather data from the market and customers to
analytically determine business priorities.
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability
to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of technical and
business audiences.
