IA Collaborative: UX Designer

Currently, IA Collaborative is looking for an experienced UX Designer who is passionate about people and designing experiences for them.  The ideal candidate will be well versed in all areas of UX including: user research, interaction design, IA, and usability.

As a UX Designer, you will:

· Work with teams through the experience design portion of interactive projects to define and meet project plans, goals and objectives.

 

· Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver creative, intuitive, functional, and visually appealing end-to-end user experiences.

· Utilize industry standards, best practices, as well as the competitive landscape to define and implement design criteria, guidelines, and specs.

· Use a persona-driven approach to developing design rationale. Articulate UX concepts and solutions through scenarios and visualizations

· Ensure that proper communication is maintained within project teams to ensure UX expectations are understood, client UX objectives are achieved, & UX deadlines are met.

 

· Provide thought leadership to clients and internal teams around

 

· Maintain knowledge of client industries and familiarity with competitive landscape.

Requirements:

· Bachelors degree in a related field

· Minimum of three years of experience in a UX Design role

· Strong visual communication skills with attention to detail and    consistency.

· Ability to create UI, wireframes, site maps, screen mockups, navigation flows, and/or interaction design specs for projects to create optimal user experiences.

· Design firm or digital firm experience preferred!

· A solid understanding of development processes & how to interface with multiple disciplines to create winning experience design solutions.

· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
