SR Education Group, a fast-growing internet marketing company, needs a few Rails/MySQL developers.
We're looking for new developers who can write code, fix bugs, and implement features on our popular informational sites.
If you're interested, there will be lots for you to do - you need to be dedicated, talented, and ready to work. You'll work with ex-Microsoft entrepreneurs who know software and internet marketing, and you'll learn a lot, quickly. New graduates who have worked at our company have gone on to serious development and marketing jobs at F5, Microsoft, and other Seattle-area household names.
How popular? Our sites get millions of hits per day so your code must be clean and performant.
How much fun will you have? Try 65 web servers running on EC2.
What kind of technologies will you use? Rails, Ruby 1.9 (mostly), Nginx, Puppet, Unicorn, MySQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, (a bit of legacy PHP), EC2, Memcached, Redis.
Where will you do this? Our offices are on the waterfront in Kirkland, Washington. Sometimes we take laptops to Wallingford and work out of Chocolati.
