GRT is carefully searching for a middle level developer/engineer to join the team with a goal of long-term employee status. This new person will work directly with the current GRT staff members and will be responsible to the 3 company principals accordingly.
GRTs search for this new person is focused with all of our past success factors in mind. We are looking for a solid foundation of technology understanding and work/school experience; we are also equally interested in promising communication skills, and growth potential of any candidate.
Required Background
Computer Science and/or Engineering related BS or MS degree.
Minimum of 3-4 years on the job, industry based work experience. (academic period work applicable)
Self motivated individual/leader looking for challenging work material in a dynamic team environment. Strong communication skills a must with abilities to interact with both technical and non-techical client personnel.
Preferred Skills (some subset of the following concepts):
Server side Java development experience JSP, Servlets, Spring, J2EE, etc.
Client side development experience (Flex, GWT, Ajax, etc.)
SQL and Relational DB Knowledge (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
Background in Unix (e.g., Linux), Mac OSX and Windows environments
Exposure to XML, XSLT and related data concepts
Exposure to mobile technology development
Knowledge of Content Management Systems and related publishing concepts
Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Ruby)
Systems integration with third party and in-house systems
