.NET Software Engineer at Computol (Perrysburg, OH)

Computol, Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, is seeking a Software Engineer/Web Applications Developer. The developer will be involved in the entire application development life cycle. This includes technical analysis and application design, coding, testing, deployment and support. The developer must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Duties:
Identify and determine requirements for new web-based applications
Create detail specifications for web applications and provide time commitments
Design, develop, test and implement web-based applications
Maintain and enhance existing web applications
Troubleshooting problems and fixing bugs

Experience:
3+ years of C#/.Net experience
3+ years of SQL Server 2005/2008
Experience with web application development is a must
Ability to work with HTML and CSS
Experience with object oriented programming
Experience with agile development methodologies and unit testing a plus
Knowledge of Sitecore CMS a plus
Should be detail oriented, a problem solver and self-motivated
Superior communication and interpersonal skills

Education:
College or University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems

Things you should know:
We are a consulting company so we work with many different clients at the same time
We use Basecamp for project management/bug tracking
We use SVN for source control (we are also fans of Git and Hg)
MVC is cool - we are using it for the first time in a current project
We love jQuery and don't really get MS Ajax
We get to write a lot of new code
