American Express: Director Digital Strategy

The Director of American Express Digital Strategy will report into the newly created Band 50, Vice President of Digital Strategy and Innovation, and will be part of the American Express Interactive (AXPi) division. The Division acts as the Center of Excellence for interactive and digital technology and customer experience for American Express.

The Director of American Express Digital Strategy will be responsible for developing strategies around American Express?s digital approaches to take advantage of emerging digital trends and technologies. They will also partner with American Express Technology (AET) and our Digital Agencies to define both digital platform standards as well as to identify new technology implementation processes to improve cycle time and our ability to more rapidly integrate third party and emerging technologies.

The Director will also act as the Center of Excellence for Natural Search and will own the Enterprise level relationship with Natural Search agencies. Last, the Director will identify and create the vision for cross business generating opportunities in the Amex digital domain to generate incremental business, enhance engagement, and drive loyalty amongst customers.

This position will lead three managers with two of those open, approved headcount providing the ability to build the team.
